Basic Needs Project 26/27

Last years result:

• Bakery training station in Nepal with RT Luxemburg 6.500 € will benefit over 60 people.
• 280 Water filter systems with RT Harare in Zimbabwe  16.600 € will benefit 1.120 people. 
• Equipp five classrooms with RT Madagascar 15.000 € will benefit 150 children.

This year we repeat the project with a international team of five regional CSOs representing their regions. The CSO are mentored by Michael - the previous CEE CSO - in his new role as RTI CSO.

Aim of the project is to search for three highly valueable projects in the are of basic needs (water, health, housing, education and clean drinking water). All projects are delivered by local RT clubs worldwide. The project used the strong buying power to leverage both impact and growth to RT associations.

The vision for this year: 

• Select up to three highly valuable Basic Needs Projects
• Fundraise over 60.000 € to 100.000 € • •
• Impact more than  2.500 persons over multiple years •
• Support the Educate every Child Challenge by RTI

The projects will be selected till 15.11 - fundraising is already online - last year we got more than 17 amazing applications - we are 100% sure that similar suited projects will be targeted 26/27.

The financial framework of the project is given by the German Tabler & Ladies Foundation.
